Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays scents of ripe dark mulberries overlaid by some tobacco leaf and subtle bay leaf followed by cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate boasts generous blackcurrant and dark mulberry flavours over a background of cedary tobacco and spice. Fine grained solid tannins provide good support with medium to long blackcurrant, dark mulberry, cedary tobacco and spice aftertaste.
