2011 Flametree Shiraz

Aged in seasoned French & American oak for 12 months. Opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple hue. The nose shows good intensity with youthful aromas of freshly crushed blackberries, liquorice, toasty oak and spice. The palate displays impressive weight and richness with mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackberries and liquorice dominate followed by some vanillin toast and spice. Soft fleshy texture with velvety tannins. Aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice and toasty oak.
