2011 First Drop Mother's Milk Shiraz

Deep dark purple red colour with dark purple red hue. The nose shows good intensity with aromas of blackberry and liquorice to the fore followed by some vanillin confectionary and spice. Medium bodied the palate has generous blackberry and liquorice flavours overlaid with some toasty oak and spice on the back palate. Very fine grained soft tannins with aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and toasty spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
