Totally opaque black crimson colour with a dark crimson red hue. The nose opens with intense ripe black cherry top notes followed by some liquorice, earthy cedar, incense and spice. Dry, chewy and tightly coiled the palate has medium bodied flavours of black cherries, liquorice, leather, earthy cedar and spice. Very dry finish with firm muscular tannins. Aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, chewy leather and spice.
