Matured for 6 months on lees in old French oak barriques to enhance the wines textural qualities. Brilliant pale straw apricot colour with watery hue. The nose displays top notes of pear and ripe apple followed by some confectionary and spice. Light to medium weight with pear and apple flavours to the fore followed by some spice on the back palate. Good mouthfeel with clean dry finish. Aftertaste of ripe pear, apple and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
