2011 Dandelion Vineyards Damsel of the Barossa Merlot

Opaque dark red black colour with deep dark crimson red hue. Nosing reveals scents of mulberries, some tobacco like characters, cedar and spice. Medium bodied the palate possesses good richness with supplely textured ripe mulberry and dark plum flavours filling the mouth followed by some cedar, light tobacco and spice nuances. Velvet smooth tannins. Good length with long ripe mulberry, cedary tobacco and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
