2011 Curly Flat The Curly Pinot Noir

Quite light in colour the wine displays a bright translucent cherry red colour with a light brick red hue. The nose possesses good perfumed lift and is quite refined in nature with aromas of dark cherries, cedar, cloves and meatiness followed by a very faint hint of anise with spicy end notes. Very light weight the palate features supplely textured flavours of dark cherries, strawberries, dried meats and spicy cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Very elegant light mouthfeel with a long aftertaste of dark cherries, cedar, dried meats and spice. A light, very savoury and meaty Pinot Noir.
