A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 4% Malbec, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot which has been aged for an average of 19 months in French barriques of which 48% were new. Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson purple hue. The nose shows great refinement and class with lifted aromas of mulberry and blackcurrant intermixing with cedary cigar box, tobacco, earth and spice. Possessing great elegance the palate displays mulberry and blackcurrant flavours over a background of cedary cigar box, earth and spice. Very finely grained yet firmly structured tannins. Dry finish with long aftertaste of mulberry, blackcurrant, cedary cigar box, earth and spice.
