Outstanding totally opaque inky black crimson colour with deep crimson black hue. Aromas of blackcurrant, mulberry and cedar are followed by traces of liquorice, tobacco and spice. Full bodied with bold rich blackcurrant flavours dominate followed by dark mulberry, cedar and spice closing with quite assertive dryish tannins which make their presence felt giving the wine a chewy mouthfeel. Medium to long ripe blackcurrant, cedar, tobacco and spice aftertaste. A big rich structured cabernet which will no doubt improve significantly once the tannins become fully integrated.
