2011 Carn Mor Strictly Limited Glen Garioch 9 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Tasting note: [30ml sample] Distilled in 2011 before maturing in a single ex-sherry butt. A curious arrangement of old library books, grapefruit, plasticine and faint sulphur; More grassy and citrussy after air contact. Oily, spicy, even a tad aggressive with a sharpness that suggests a slightly off-cut. No shortage of flavour but better with water. Non chill filtered. 47.5% Alc./Vol. 1636 bottles.

Notes from the bottlers... Expect bread and butter pudding, with a sprinkling of brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
