Matured for 15 months in a combination of French and American oak. Deep dark purple colour with dark purple red hue. Aromas of dark plum are intermixed with some ripe mulberry followed by a touch of cedar and some spice. Light to medium weight the palate has flavours of plum, dark mulberry, a touch of dusty cedar and spice. Dryish finish. Very fine grained soft tannins. Moderate aftertaste of ripe mulberry, dusty cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
