2010 Zema Estate Coonawarra Shiraz

Matured in a combination French and American oak for 14 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Aromas of blackberries, liquorice and black cherries are intermixed with some toasty vanillin oak followed by spicy end notes. Possessing excellent richness and concentration for Coonawarra Shiraz the palate delivers a full bodied expression of ripe blackberries, black cherries and liquorice over a background of spicy toasted vanillin oak. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent length with a long aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, toasty vanillin oak and spice.
