The 2010 Church Block is composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Shiraz and 18% Merlot with maturation taking place in a combination of 70% French oak and 30% American oak barriques for 18 months. Opaque black crimson colour with dark crimson red hue. On the nose blackcurrant and mulberry top notes are followed by some cedar and spice. Supplely textured the palate has joosy flavours of blackcurrant and blackberry followed by some mulberry and spicy cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, blackberry, mulberry and spice.
