2010 Whistling Eagle Vineyard Eagles Blood Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black colour with a deep dark purple black hue. Intense aromas of ripe blackberries and liquorice are followed by some dark plum and vanillin confectionary. Full bodied the palate possesses rich opulent flavours of blackberries, liquorice and dark plums followed by vanillin oak and some spicy pepper characters. Solid but velvet smooth tannins. Excellent concentration and power with a long aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, dark plums and spicy vanillin oak.
