Totally opaque inky black purple colour with very deep dark purple hue. Liquorice and blackberry aromas are to the fore followed by some blackpepper, dried meats and spice notes. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses generous flavours of liquorice and blackpepper along with some blackberry and underlying meaty characters and spice. Dryish finish with solidly built but fine grained tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of liquorice, blackpepper, dried meats and spice.
