2010 Valli Gibbston Vineyard Pinot Noir

This Pinot shows good depth with a deep dark red colour and dark crimson red hue. The nose exhibits lifted black cherry aromas along with a touch of anise followed by some meatiness and spice. Medium weight the palate possesses generous flavours of black cherries, dark plums and some anise followed by some meaty cedar like qualities and a spicy back palate. Dryish finish with solidly built but fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of black cherries, anise, dried meats and spicy cedar.
