Deep dark red black colour with very dark red to brick red hue. Nosing reveals black cherry top notes over some leather, earth and spice. Medium weight the palate possesses flavours of black cherries and liquorice followed by some leather and a touch of earthiness. Dryish finish but quite soft texturally with very fine grained tannins. Savoury aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, leather and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
