Opaque black dark red colour with dark red purple hue. Aromas of liquorice and ripe dark cherries are followed by some subtle vanillin cedar and spice. Medium bodied the palate is relatively elegant and possesses a soft supple mouthfeel with flavours of liquorice, blackberries, subtle vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with long liquorice, blackberry, toasty oak and spice aftertaste.
