Produced from Tempranillo and oak aged for at least 12 months. Opaque black dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose offers up scents of ripe dark cherries alongside a hint of liquorice followed by new leather, cedar, earth and spice. Medium to full bodied flavours of ripe black cherries are to the fore with a spicy overlay followed by some new leather and subtle earthy cedar. Solid structure with a chewy mouthfeel towards to finish but relatively fine grained tannins. Medium to long black cherry, new leather and spicy earth aftertaste.
