More and more peated whisky fans are working out that if you are looking for 'peaternatives' to combat rising Islay prices, Ardmore is a go-to distillery. What most won't know is that for a portion of the year, Ardmore produces unpeated whisky too. These are sold under the name of 'Ardlair'. Being long time admirers of Ardmore, we're fascinated to see how it shows. This bottling from reputable independents as part of their Reserve Cask series was matured in a trio of barrels until it was bottled in 2022 at 48%. Non chill filtered.
