Opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays lifted dark plum and liquorice aromas followed by some black cherry and spice. Quite weighty for a Merlot the palate has ripe dark plum and mulberry flavours followed by some cedar and spice. Fine grained softly textured tannins with aftertaste of dark plum, mulberry and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
