A must have for the Coonawarra collectors.

Winemaker Sandrine Gimon has produced a first class example of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon with excellent cellaring capabilities. Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon this wine was matured in a combination of new, one and two year old French oak barriques with an average time in wood of 24 months.

Full bodied, structured and richly flavoured, this a magnificent example of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon.

Superb opaque black crimson colour with deep dark crimson red black hue. Perfumed nose showing excellent intensity with perfectly ripened blackcurrant top notes followed by some dark cherry, cedar and spice. The palate delivers magnificent concentration and richness for its relatively miserly price point with mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackcurrant filling every corner of the mouth followed by some liquorice, cedar, subtle cigar box characters and spice. A solid tannin structure provides an excellent framework to the well endowed palate that possesses superb length and persistence. Slightly dryish finish with very long ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, cedar and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-8 years (2017-2020).
