2010 Port Phillip Estate Chardonnay

Matured in French oak, 15% of which was new for 12 months.Brilliant straw colour with a slight greenish tinge and watery hue. The nose displays a refined aromatic profile of white peach, nectarine, cashew and biscuit. Medium bodied, white peach and citrus fruits dominate the front palate followed by some spicy oak and nutty cashew on the back palate. Good balanced acidity gives the wine a fresh dry finish. Long aftertaste of white peach, citrus, spice and nutty cashew.An elegant but very flavoursome Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay.
