A creamy mousse shows good staying power and once dissipated reveals a pale straw base wine colour with pale gold edgings. Very fine and persistent bead. Nosing reveals ripe pear, dried honey and toast characters with yeast lees and citrus also evident. Baked pear and citrus flavours dominate the palate followed by some oily toastiness and yeast lees infusions. Finishes dry and fresh with vibrant acidity. Aftertaste of baked pear, oily toast, citrus and yeast lees.
