2010 Penley Estate Hyland Coonawarra Shiraz

Opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays elevated scents of liquorice and blackberry with a mint overlay followed by some toasty end notes. Medium to full bodied with a good level of richness, flavours of blackberry and liquorice are prevalent with overtones of mint and some spicy toasted oak on the back palate. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins and aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice, mint and spicy cedar.
