2010 Paxton The Guesser Cabernet Shiraz

A blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Shiraz. Opaque black dark red colour with deep very dark red hue. The nose displays ripe plum and cassis like notes followed by a touch of dark chocolate and spice. Full bodied the palate possesses ripe joosy flavours of blackberry, dark plum and dark chocolate with a spicy back palate. Round supple mouthfeel with soft silky smooth tannins. Aftertaste of dark chocolate, dark plum, toasty oak and spice. A joosy inviting quaffer.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
