The Nashwauk vineyard is located in the Seaview sub-region of McLaren Vale with vines ranging in age from 20-40 years old. Formerly under the ownership of Hardys where the fruit was sourced for their flagship cuvee Eileen Hardy, it now resides in the hands of the Kaesler group with winemaker Reid Bosward at the helm.

Kaesler winemaker Reid Bosward has fashioned a densely textured and super rich Shiraz

Matured in a combination of new and 2 year old French oak barriques for 14 months. Totally opaque inky black purple colour with dark purple black hue. Aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice and black cherry with overtones of vanillin oak and spice. Densely textured and super rich the palate boasts a powerful flavour profile of blackberry, liquorice and black cherry followed by some dark chocolate, toasty oak and spice. Slightly grippy but balanced tannins. Excellent depth with long extravagantly rich blackberry, liquorice, toasty oak and spice aftertaste.
