Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark purple red hue. The nose displays ripe black plum and black cherry top notes followed by some liquorice and spice. Big rich palate flavours of black cherries, dark chocolate and liquorice flood the palate with underlying vanillin oak and a spicy finish. Very fine grained tannins. Opulent mouthfeel with a medium to long liquorice, black cherry and spicy vanillin oak aftertaste.
