Semi translucent dark to brick red colour with a brick red hue – quite advanced for a 2010. Nosing reveals aromas of ripe red cherries and strawberries over some emerging earthy leather like characters and spice. Very soft, supple and mellow the palate has flavours of ripe red cherries and strawberry jam over earthy leather characters and spicy toasted cedar. Low acidity and satin like tannins. Aftertaste of stewed cherries, strawberry jam, earth and spicy toasted cedar. Showing signs of early development this Pinot requires immediate drinking.
