Totally opaque black dark red colour with dark red black hue. The nose shows very good lift with ripe blackberry and liquorice scents over some toasty vanillin oak, earth and spice. Plushy textured with loads of opulent fruit the palate delivers a rich sumptuous flavour profile of ripe blackberries, liquorice and toasty vanillin oak with some underlying earthiness and a spicy back palate. Velvet smooth tannins. Long ripe blackberry, liquorice, toasty vanillin oak and spice aftertaste.
