2010 Main Divide Pinot Noir

Matured for 18 months in French oak, of which 20% was new, this Pinot shows excellent depth displaying a deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Superb perfumed nose with aromas of ripe black cherries, anise and dark plums arising from the glass followed by some toasty oak and spice end notes. Possessing good weight and richness the palate delivers a generous profile of black cherries, anise and black plums followed by some toasty oak with a very spicy back palate. Very fine grained tannins. Good power wave with long black cherry, anise, toasty oak and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2013-2017).
