2010 Lonely Vineyard Riesling

Showing absolutely no signs of its age the wine is brilliant pale straw in colour with vibrant highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. Intense lime, lemon and granny smith apple scents are overlaid by subtle oily toast like notes and wet steel. Generously textured in its mouthfeel the palate is decorated with concentrated lemon and lime fruits which are subtlety infused with oily toast like characters. Finishes dry, steely and minerally with crisp acidity and a long aftertaste that sees some kerosene like characters make an appearance.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
