Totally opaque inky black crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red black tinged hue. Perfumed scents of ripe blackberries and dark plums waft from the glass followed by some dark chocolate, liquorice, subtle vanillin mocha characters and spice. Boasting fabulous concentration and richness the palate delivers opulently textured flavours of ripe blackberries and dark plums alongside some liquorice and dark chocolate with underlying toasty vanillin oak and spice. Silky smooth tannins combine with a sumptuous plush mouthfeel. Long aftertaste of ripe dark blackberries, dark plum, chocolate bullets and spicy vanillin oak.
