Kaesler’s Stonehorse Shiraz is sourced from vines 15-40 years old and is matured in 3 year old barrels for 15 months. Totally opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice followed by some toasty characters and spice. Full bodied the palate delivers opulent plushly textured flavours of ripe blackberry, liquorice, confectionary and toast with a spicy back palate. Velvet smooth tannins. Long ripe blackberry, liquorice and spice aftertaste.
