Totally opaque black crimson colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose shows good lift with top notes of ripe blackberry and dark plum followed by some liquorice and vanillin oak. Rich joosy ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate flavours follow on the palate with nuances of spicy vanillin oak on the back palate. Very fine grained almost velvet like tannins. Long aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice, dark chocolate and spice.
