Matured for 18 months in French oak barriques. Opaque black dark crimson red colour with dark red purple hue. The nose displays good carry with aromas of blackcurrant, mulberry infused with tobacco, dusty cedar and spice. Medium weight the palate exhibits flavours of mulberry, some tobacco cigar box like characters, dusty cedar and spice. Elegant textural properties. Slightly dryish on the finish but with fine grained tannins. Medium to long ripe mulberry, tobacco, cedar and spice aftertaste.
