2010 Hentley Farm The Beast Shiraz

This Beast comes complete with a dog tag around it’s neck for easy identification. Totally opaque saturated inky black crimson colour with deep black dark crimson hue. The nose is a little subdued at first slowly revealing scents of dark plum, dark chocolate bullets and blackberry followed by some subtle mocha and spicy oak. Full bodied and rich yet far from an obese beast the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackberry and dark chocolate followed by some dark plum, toasty vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of blackberry, dark chocolate, spice and toasty vanillin oak.
Cellar 5-6 years.
