2010 Haystack Chirnside Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a dark red to brick red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of sweet dark cherries and strawberry followed by some minty anise like characters and subtle spicy cedar. Light weight the palate has flavours of dark cherries and mint followed by some very light anise and cedar. It lacks power with a dryish finish and fine grained tannins. Modest aftertaste of dark cherries, minty anise and light cedar.
