2010 Hans Herzog Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red black tinged colour with a dark crimson red hue. Nosing offers up aromas of dark cherries and ripe strawberries followed by violets, meaty characters, cedar, light earth and spice. Light to medium weight the palate is relatively generously flavoured but also elegant. It features flavours of dark cherries, strawberries, meaty earth like characters, cedar and spice. Slightly dryish finish with very fine grained tannins. Long savoury aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, strawberries, dried meats, scorched earth and cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
