2010 Greenstone Vineyard Heathcote Shiraz

Aged for 18-24 months in 500 litre puncheons and French barriques of which 10-15% was new oak. Opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays scents of blackberry, liquorice, dried meat characters and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate delivers a refined flavour profile of blackberry, liquorice, dried meats and some blackpepper. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of blackberry, blackpepper and dried meats.
Cellar 5-6 years.
