2010 Farr Rising Mornington Pinot Noir

Semi translucent crimson red mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose is very perfumed displaying dark cherry, anise and toast top notes followed by some earthy spice like scents. Light to medium weight but with excellent power the palate is very flavoursome with dark cherry, spice and anise characters followed by some meaty earth like flavours with the spiciness persisting onto the back palate. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, anise and cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).
