Matured for 9 months in American oak puncheons. Opaque dark purple colour with purple crimson hue. Aromas of dark cherry, liquorice and spice. The palate is quite joosy although youthful displaying generous flavours of dark raspberry, liquorice and confectionary with a spicy back palate. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark raspberry, liquorice and vanillin spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
