The Cali Road Shiraz underwent maturation in 100% new American oak for 24 months. Totally opaque black purple colour with very deep dark red purple hue. The nose offers up perfumed scents of ripe blackberry, dark chocolate and liquorice intermixed with some mocha and vanillin oak. Plush and rich the palate delivers luscious palate flavours of dark chocolate and ripe blackberry followed by some mocha and vanillin oak characters on the back palate. Opulent mouthfeel with silky smooth tannins. Long blackberry, dark chocolate, mocha and vanillin oak aftertaste.
