Tasting note (tasted 31/08/2012):
Outstanding black purple colour with very deep dark purple hue. The nose presents scents of black raspberry and liquorice followed by some dried meats and spice. Full bodied and boasting tremendous richness the palate delivers flavours of black raspberry, black cherry and liquorice with some meaty undertones and spicy back palate. Fine grained solid tannin structure. Excellent concentration and depth with long liquorice, black raspberry and blackpepper aftertaste.
Alc 15.5%

Other reviews…
It has a dense purple color (slightly more saturated than the 2009) and loads of primary yet intense blueberry, black raspberry and cherry fruit intermixed with lavender and licorice. Full-bodied, intense, fresh, with sweet tannin, this is another beauty that over-delivers. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.
