Opaque deep dark red black colour with dark red hue. Top notes of black cherry arise from the glass followed by scents of subtle liquorice, some meatiness, earth and spice. Medium weight flavours of black cherry are again dominate over a background of liquorice, meaty earth like characters and spice. Dry chewy finish with relatively firm tannin structure. Aftertaste of black cherry, liquorice, meaty earthiness and spice.
