2010 Clos du Val Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black crimson red colour with dark crimson black hue. On the nose a lifted bouquet of violets, ripe blackcurrant and ripe dark mulberry arise from the glass followed by some cedary cigar box like characters and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses elegance along with good structural qualities with flavours of blackcurrant intermixed with dark mulberry overlaid by some cedar, cigar box and spice. Dry dusty tannins and slightly chewy on the finish. Good depth with aftertaste of mulberry, blackcurrant, cedary cigar box and spice.

Cellar 6-8 years.
