2010 Claymore Wines Nirvana Reserve Shiraz

Matured in 85% new American and French oak for 24 months. Impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep dark crimson red black hue. Perfumed liquorice top notes are followed by ripe blackberry with hints of dark chocolate also present over some vanillin confectionary showing excellent intensity. Full bodied opulent rich flavours of liquorice, ripe blackberries and dark chocolate flood the palate followed by vanillin confectionary and subtle pepper characters. Solid but velvet like tannin structure. Outstanding depth with a very long liquorice, blackberry, subtle dark chocolate, vanillin confectionary and blackpepper aftertaste.
