Totally opaque inky black colour with deep black crimson red hue. The nose is a little subdued at present but slowly opens up to reveal scents of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum followed by some spice end notes. Full bodied the palate displays ripe opulent flavours of dark plum and blackberry followed by some liquorice with a spicy back palate. Slightly dryish tannins but balanced with medium to long ripe blackberry, liquorice and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years (2015-2016).
