2010 Chateau Grand Pontet Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Pre-Arrival Offer
Owned by Sophie Pourquet, the sister of Gerard and Dominique Becot, this wine was cropped at 32 hectoliters per hectare and hit 14.5% natural alcohol. It is a very tightly knit wine, with elegance, a dark ruby color and relatively soft tannins. It is medium-bodied and very good, but has uninspiring levels of concentration and potential complexity. The wine should be reasonably drinkable upon release and last for 10-12 years.Drink: 2013 - 2023.
