2010 Carlei Green Vineyards Pinot Noir

Aged in new and used French oak barrels for 18 months. Semi translucent bright crimson red colour with a light crimson hue. The nose displays a fragrant aromatic profile of ripe dark cherries and strawberries followed by some subtle anise and spicy cedar. Light in weight the palate possesses flavours of ripe dark cherries and strawberries followed by some subtle anise and spicy cedar. Elegant, structured feel with a dryish finish and fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, strawberries, some meatiness and spicy cedar.
